Yesterday

OK, so there has been a bit of unpleasantness on here lately, however I would like to show some positives if I may.

Yesterday, my thread took a bit of a turn...I mentioned certain things about Rangers and religion in defence of myself.

Initially I got savaged, rightly or wrongly, but I'm made of sterner stuff, so I stood my ground and tried to explain myself,eventually I received some quality retorts from the bears.

I was genuinely surprised at the anger, a genuine anger that I had dared to imply that they / their club was still living in the past.
What struck me was that the guys on here articulated that anger in such a way that I was genuinely convinced that they are trying to move on as a club and are seriously píssed off at being dragged back all the time.

Sectarianism is often founded in suspicion and mistrust, which is why I didn't back down from my reasons of mistrust of Rangers in the past.

What yesterday proved to me is that these guys need to be cut some slack, times are changing and I for one view them very differently now.

We will never have a big love in, but we could all try and understand that nothing is ever right and wrong in a black and white sense when it comes to cultural differences.
