robben possibly, but valencia is head and shoulders above the other two. especially ribery who is a disgraceful player

no ribery is rubbish. as a german i should know. and i do know. i know that he is bad.

what has sanchez done so far? not too much.


in all his time at united valencia has only had maybe 3 games where you wouldn't give him 6 or 7 out of ten.

one of the was the cl final.

what do people think ribery does?


plays in a team that has won the league twice in 5 years in a league that is no better than the pl.
got to one lucky cl final in very lucky circumstances. during that run he played against united and did absolutely nothing against an aging gary neville and an inexperienced rafael exept one lucky deflected free kick.

in the same game valencia tore bayern a new one, setting up 2 goals and completely dominating ribery, i remember watching it on german tv and the commentators being stunned at how good this guy they had never heard was compared to their superstars of robben and ribery. in the second half rafael commits suicide and bayern score a wonder goal from a corner. that is football.


to sum things up: ribery never wins anything in a team with the one of the best teams in the world.

I've watched this kid 3 times now and he has looked special every time I've seen him. Is he the real deal or is he just going to be another name on the list of overrated £20M+ Liverpool signings?

Either way I wouldn't mind him at Arsenal.

I rate Hoilett highly, to be honest.

Direct, pacey and technically gifted; I'd happily see him play for Arsenal.

Nah trust me, he's a class player. He's not like your average target man, he's got good technical ability, he can actually play football.

I don't like targetmen either, Ibra and Giroud are exceptions.

Don't agree with you on this comment. Actually I compare him too to Ibra but rate Giroud technical ability higher and he is much more a team player. Absolute bargain for this price.

Good article.

Anyone who compares Giroud to Chamakh is an idiot. They're nothing alike.

Like Batmanu said, Giroud is like a left-footed and youger Ibrahimovic (obviously not as good). He's got great technical ability for such a great man.

Very good player.

Believe the hype about Ibra. He is awful and technical inept most of the time. Did play in better teams where he lived from the assists from others.

Dubbed sometimes you judge from the form of teams and actual results.

Dubbed you really are quite stupid. Wilshere is definitely near Schweinsteiger's level. The only difference is that Jack hasn't been doing it for long enough for others to recognise it.

Walcott is definitely better than Robben nowadays. Stats never show the whole story, but that disparity is beyond explanation. Even Bayern don't really want to play him.

I know that TCW. I just genuinely believe that Wilshere has reached a new level and is not only our best player but one of the better midfielders on the planet. He can be talked alongside the likes of Schweinsteiger. Unfortunately, there will be a time gap between the period where Wilshere gets good, and when it's acceptable for someone to make the comparison. It's natural, but I think that Wilshere is now at that point.
