November is looking like a good time for a holiday for people like me that like to plan times away for when there is no Wolves game.
We have 5 games between now and November 5th with home games against Coventry, Oldham and Stevenage and away trips to Bradford and Carlisle. Be good to keep the pressure on Orient and Peterborough with 4 wins in those.
But then we have Round 1 of the FA Cup and Chorley are thankfully out at the hands of the mighty Vauxhall Motors. And the following week's game at Notts County will be off because of internationals so we will have two successive weekends without a League game, until returning at the end of November.
So sounds like a good time for a trip. Canaries? Far East? Northern Lights? Vegas? The choice is endless

good luck with the move gem, closer to the sunshine but further from the warmth of molineux
yes to arenal and monteverde, cinci. you'll love it - best place in the world for wildlife (if yr not too concerned by 101 deadly poisonous things, or giant sized insects), great food, wonderful geography. hot springs around arenal are a good way to spend a night relaxing - i thought i'd hate it but actually it was really enjoyable.
we were also lucky enough to get to see arenal erupting in a rare moment when the peak wasn't covered in clouds; and 'lucky' enough to see a fer de lance...which scared the crap out of me even when it was dead.

Sounds right up my street GB, i used to have plenty of fears with bugs, spiders and all but have spent a lot of time in their environment in various places around the world now and encountered first hand some dangerous critters.
I have kind of accepted that it is only a matter of time before i get bitten by something nasty given what i do when it comes to wildlife in general.
Can't wait to get out there, Costa Rica will be the comfortable part, it will get quite edgy after we leave there, only using public transport and the occasional minibus and only 1 and 2 star hotels
What do i need to look out for food wise in particular, im a big foody?

a lot of excellent steaks 'inland' - as thick as they are wide and really well flavoured. if you made it to the coast then i'd say my favourite thing was a ceviche bar that served about 20 types of sea food served raw and 'cooked' in various combinations of chili/lime juice/tequila etc. the black bean frijole was good, as is the traditional beans and rice breakfast. and the coffee is amazing, as youd expect.
they also make a mean rum and i did drink more than my (or a small town's) fair share of mojito, which although not strictly costa rican, seem to fit in with the spirit of the country.

The latin american steaks always seem to be top class from my experience.
She is a Coffee fanatic and has already checked out a few good plantations so we can visit one along the journey.
Thanks for the feedback GB, really looking forward to it
