Modric still waiting for Chelsea

A recent interview after the international friendly, the player insist all he has said before remains the same and laughed at the thought of staying in Spurs at the end of the transfer window.A pathetic club keeping hold on a player who has repeatedly stood his ground on leaving.I hope Levy keeps hold on Arry when he dumps them for the National team at the end of next season.

Your boy "Hounslows Finest" knows the answer. Him and me have already spoken about it before.

Everything else that you say above is correct.

I got to admit grandspurs that I don't believe you.

But at least we are now having a proper debate like football fans, rather than you abuse my club, like at the start of my entry to this thread

Yeh you lost in the semi in europa cup
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wrong we lost in the CC semi to woolwich and in the quarters of the FA to the chavss after a replay andthe quarters of the Europa to Seville.

Mj's reign happened to be at the same time as we spent a fortune on players trust me he was average at best

And the rest. Where were you finishing BEFORE Jol came along? As for the prem being weak, it had actually become a lot stronger than the two horse race it was. Chelsea had just smashed the league and there was no way you were going to finish above United, Livpl, Arsenal when prior to Jol you were mid-table at best. The other couple of points you chose to overlook was he got you to 5th twice and was then sacked. Yeh you lost in the semi in europa cup, but without Jol you wouldn't have got there in the first place. He was a great manager for Spurs and given time he would have taken you further, but don't worry, you're a typical spurs fans, wants everything in one day. It's these delusions that make the club and its fans a laughing stock.

As for this so-called stand against the billionaires. Don't kid yourself. You're a selling club, always have been always will be. We'll speak again, when your chairman is counting the readies at midnight on Aug 31st

Nope not always and dont worry I will not be in the least surprised if Levy does an about turn I said that on here yesterday.

Thats what the Diarra deal is all about IMO, but try to get it into your head just cos Levy does it, does not mean I agree with it I would rather make a stand personally, but you may or not realise thats an opinion I dont actually have any say in the matter

Mate, strange as it may seem, I actually believe that like me you have been a long time fan.

OK but look I'm bored now and I have got to pop out soon so I'll give you the answer. There were NO spurs fans in any of the seats that day, in strict contravention of FA Cup rules. This was because obviously it was a fixture that was always going to kick off and for the purposes of segregation Bates decreed that he couldn't risk giving Spurs fans seats because it would have needed lorry loads of Old Bill between them and Chelsea fans in adjoining seats. In the climate leading up to the fixture Spurs obviously didn't want crowd troubles so didn't protest, and obviously the FA turned a blind eye to their rules, on Police advice.

So now you can see why I say that anyone there would have known.

Like I would have taken an interest in that then I was mid 20's and never went near the seats in those days

Fair enough. Anyway I do have to go now, but don't you go thinking that I'm running away, because I have enjoyed our banter and will definitely look to having it with you again at some future date

It's too much fun not to!!
