This club has a tradition of playing wingers and 4-4-2 but it simply is too rigid. We were overrun again in midfield with Fellaini very poor. IMO Rooney had a poor game and nothing stuck up top either. Rafael looked jaded and was off the pace, his touch let him down many times.
ALso cannot understand why Nani came off, thought he was our most dangerous attacker, at least creating.
We missed Cleverley today and a part of a central three he is very good. The problem is that central three needs a world class performer alongside Carrick who is very good if not world class !

The only mistake I see DM has made was the knee-jerk reaction to buying Fellaini.
That aside, he's learning what this squad is all about. He's never had a squad this good so give the man a chance ffs
