First game of the season @ stadium Mk ( not including the spurs pre season game )
Have to the defending was shocking by the dons all game and could easily been 1 down before the pen was awarded!
Equally at 2-0 up had a couple of chances to seal the game but didn't take them and Rotherham took advantage of some dodgy defending and levelled the game...
Then the dons 3rd WOW a world class finish and a great win
Well done
Up the dons!!!

the defence is a bit makeshift at the moment but thank God for Boy Bamford, a star in the making.

The second goal for Rotherham can't be happy with that....

I'm not happy about either, especially as Semi has lost players behind him before while we have been caught with a lot goalie's kick at least twice this season.
We have to learn and get better or get left behind.

Positionally where would you like to strengthen?

I understand and agree with Robbo's philosophy of passing the ball and keeping possession but I feel they should be a bit of realism of where we are and the players we can afford. The biggest mistake was letting Jabo Ibehre go. He may not have all the skills, but he couldn't hold the ball up and playing others in (Alan Smith has never managed that since he has been here). Wilbraham performed a similar role but was slated by a lot of fans, not realising what he brought to the team.
I also understand the need to develop young players and I am not criticising Tom Flanagan but I would also buy a no nonsense centre half who is strong and good in the air.
So in summary a target man and a big experienced centre half.

I see we have a new centre half (whether he is no nonsense or not we will see). Just need a target man. I see Davide Somma is still free, 6 ft 3 (might be worth a gamble).

Yea see they got a defender ( from west ham ), really need the injuries to clear up ASAP and climb the table.

Still nonsense defending. Its about time ay players making a bad gaff had to train in a donkey suit for the week and repeat the chant "No nonsense defending" until their understand it and that doesn't mean just boot the ball, but takes account of risks.
