app the money from cesc and nasri will be made available for signings. wasnt this meant to have happened with toure and adebayor. even if the money is available he wont spend it!
why all of a sudden are we going for dann? hes been available all summer and we wait till now, less than a week before the season starts, to try and sign him! it just strikes of such amatuerish work by wenger and gazidis
mata wont be signed. he will cost more than £20m and there is no way wenger will spend that on anyone
its sad to look at man utd see their targets and offer what the teams want (everton and jagielka!!!!!!! again) whereas we come along and offer less than what they want whilst still demanding top dollar for our players. i mean £11m for bendtner!!!!!! man utd have their squad settled and players bedded in, we have 2 major players about to leave, signed a winger when we are desp for a cb! and are screaming out for signings but no, we seem to love uncertainty at our club.
but we have great character! yeah thats why we capitulated at the end of last season and was it, 'the time has come for this team to deliver were ready', what again this is the season - great! were ready to fail every season
reinvesting money

Disagree completely - there was lots more debt to pay off when we sold Toure, and we spent all the money on the squad - giving current players silly long contracts.
We will reinvest the money from the Fabregas transfer to be sure. From these transfers, we should get £55million and then another £10million a year in wage money. So lots available, I predict that we will spend a bit more than half - Dann, Mata and Jadson, maybe a youngster or striker, for £35million and £7million/year wages.

The players Man Utd signed wanted to go to United, and made it known they wanted to go. That made it very easy for United to get their targets, along with over the odds transfer fees.
Sadly it seems as if the likes of Jagielka, Cahill and even Dann are that enthusiastic about coming to the Emirates, thus are not pushing their clubs to sell, making it hard for us to sign them.
Samba was quoted as saying he wanted to play CL football, but very quickly denied any link to Arsenal.

when we moved to the emirates there was a legal stipulation that stated 70% of money raised would go to the signing of new players and not debt repayment. so this money has stood there and done nothing when we have been desp for a cb!

There was? I wasn't aware. Interesting - that certainly hasn't happened. Unless they count giving players new contracts, because I think that's where all the money went. Certainly Eboue, Denilson, Rosicky all signed on in the wake of those transfers, quite a few others that I can't be bothered to look up...

Care to provide evidence to back any of this up?

the decision to give one of those a new contract is grounds for gross misconduct, let alone all three

Once again I find myself agreeing with you, D'Jeezus. The sad truth is players these days seem to either be so egotistical and have such high opinions of their own ability that they think any club except United etc is below them, or they just prefer to be a big fish in a small pond. Or, as is an increasing trend, they go for the money.
So most players go to a club for money, trophies or status. Arsenal can't claim on the 'trophies' front as while we're still a good club many of the players of our standard will be attracted to United instead. We also can't compete with the finances of City and Chelsea, but we still have a squad of reasonable quality that players such as Jagielka etc feel they'd be left out or forgotten if they came to us.

I hate to sound like a demanding twát, but until you provide any concrete evidence about the legal stipulation saying 70% of the money we get goes toward transfers and not debt repayment, I'm afraid that all you're doing is speculating. Sorry.
