Wenger tactically naive!

We shouldn't have gone crazy and open like that when a point is enough, we messed up big time now we go to difficult fixtures and it is because Wenger never learns. We have equal players if not better than them, they showed tactical ability by defending deep and denying us space to play and we started to play long balls and then our full backs were pushing high. It shows why Wenger is tactically naive and has been found out in CL knockout games. We are devastating when on form and can destroy teams, however, we are programmed to attack and forget when tactically a draw is acceptable depending on who we play, I shudder to think our naïveté is correspondence of Wenger's own making.

Hmmm... I don't know. Funnily enough, the first half was where Arsenal were naive imo. Not pressing Dortmund.

Arsenal were on top of Dortmund in the 2nd half, one quick counter and it was 2-1.

I think the game was there for the taking, but on the night Arsenal just lacked that extra edge to get the goal.

Yep. Extremely poorly coached game by him tonight in terms of the intricacies needed at this kind of level, but the team played reasonably well for the main, just caught out by what amounted to a sucker punch more than a being outplayed or anything particularly harrowing.

I don't think Wenger was naive. I think he corrected what was wrong, we just got hit by a decent break when our players were at sixes and sevens.

Dortmund and Bayern showed they could walk our league easy.

Why were your players at sixes and sevens though. Sagna just made it into your box when Lewandowski's shot had gone in. I cannot understand why he was so far out of position with ten minutes left of a game in which a point was a good result.

Exactly. And against one of the best sides in Europe. If that's not tactical naivety - despite the full backs need to cover for the lack of width for the rest of the game - I'm not quite sure what is.

We definitely played reasonably well tonight, but there were also coaching errors made.

I was impressed by how they killed the last ten minutes, that was a some footballing lesson plus football know how. but still we should beat them if everyone is on their game.
