yes this is stressful for me, and I am trying to pre-empt wether nas will go to city because that might rule da silva out of my midfield, and i am waying up wether to buy samba / cahill good price they might end up at arsenal if AV has the cesc and nas money. As soon as they are registered Arsenal players theyre value will go way up. Arrghh, decisions decisions

The main problem is if you don't structure your team well you have to make two subs to free funds to buy someone, earning the dreaded 4 point penalty.

Smalling will play a fair amount of games at RB but certainly not week in week out.

I think Da Silva will always be a good buy, even if Nasri comes, he's city best player and i think it might just mean Yaya gets pushed further back.

I have Cahill, Saha and Baines in my team from Everton.
All are potentially high scorers but the first match is cancelled. Not sure whether to make changes and take penalty point putting them back in later or leave them in for the first week and waist 3 spots.

Depends on the quality of your subs... if you've got semi-decent subs you can afford to leave them out.

I was going to put Distan in but took him out due to the cancellation. I can always get him back when its rearranged and they play twice in 1 game week.... I'd swap Saha for Odemwingie.

Anyone know if Suarez has been playing for liverpool or is he still recovring from the copa america?

Anyone can advise on who to have up front out of carroll or suarez? I was tempted to pick carroll as he is slightly cheaper and the Liverpool team seems to be set up to take advantage of his aerial abilities (Downing, Adam etc). However, Suarez is predicted to have a stormer of a season and is automatic first choice.

My team (Sun Dreamteam):

Hart, Clichy, Ivanovic, W Brown, J Enrique, Nani, N'Zogbia, Downing, Rooney, Gervinho, Carroll/Suarez

Any thoughts on this team also? thanks.

Rude: Looks good, not sure about Downing, Adam will be taking all corners, freekicks (and maybe penny's), which is normally where Downing gets his assits from.
Suarez isn't a definite start for the first game and I think Carrol has to play every week due to his price tag.

Also i've gone with Carrol as he's English and the media love picking a young British guy as MOM. Look at the plaudits people like Hart and Bale get.

Thanks alot! I guess il stick with Carroll then (esp since pretty much everyone would be picking Suarez), although i am unsure on his fitness levels.

I was gonna pick Adam initially, but feel that with so much competition in the middle of the park at Liverpool, he might not get as many games as Downing.

Do you think I should swap Hart for Given? as he is much cheaper so I can invest on the rest of the squad?

Up to you, Hart is a very good choice as City will have a lot of clean sheets this year. I'd only get Given if you really wanted the money for another player.
