Says he didn't want to.
Why was this?
Is this a sign of a manager starting to feel the strain?
Would you have shaken mourinhos hand?
Pelligrini refuses to shake hands

Think they shook hands at the beginning so I don't think there is any residual bad feeling . I think its what Jose said, that he jumped into the crowd to see his son but could understand if Pel thought it disrespectful and so apology was given as that was not his intent. I thought Pellegrini looked subdued in the interview he gave Sky before the game. A little nervous - perhaps to be expected given our poor away form and having to face Chelsea at SB.
Mourinho's celebration at the end was annoying. Of course, I say that purely from the perspective of a City fan who felt furious at the way we had just thrown the game away. No doubt Pellegrini was annoyed as hell also. But for him to say that he didn't shake Mourinho's hand because he "didn't want to" is, irrespective of what happened at the end of the game, irrespective of how Mourinho celebrated, and irrespective of whether they had had clashes before, unnecessary.

I think people need to remember the culture they both come from as well, as Mourinho said after the game, in Spain, managers tend not to shake hands after the game, only before. There is obviously some residual bad feeling between the pair as well after previous comments.
I don't mean that as an excuse, more as potential reasons behind why it happened. I agree with Ripley that Pellegrini must have been absolutely fuming at the end of that game. I also agree that he should have shaken his hand.
Having watched the full game back again last night, I have to say, there really was some quality football played by both teams at times. The last 10 minutes, we did start to tire and I think Moscow started to take it's toll.
For Pellegrini, I thought he got the tactics spot on up to the point of subbing Nasri for Navas, I would have kept Nasri on, even if he was starting to tire, as we were controlling the midfield in the second half. Having said that, you can't legislate for letting in a goal like that at the end.
A lot of the teams above us play each other in the coming weeks, it will be very interesting to see what it all looks like at Christmas. I think the eventual champions came out of that game yesterday and I have said from the start I think that will be Chelsea. The team that is actually worrying me the most is Liverpool as long as they can keep Suarez and Sturridge fit (well, in the former, not banned probably more than not fit as they have no other distractions at all.
Shaping up to be a very interesting season!

I too think Chelsea will win the league. I also think it's about time that people started to take Liverpool seriously. They have had a comparatively easy start, but that shouldn't take away from how good a start they have had. (We have had a comparatively easy start also, yet not been as clinical as Liverpool have been.)
It's too early to say, but I do think that the top four will be a great battle this season, and any one of a number of teams could finish top four (and indeed drop out of it). Both ourselves and United don't look guaranteed to attain a top four finish at the moment in my opinion.
We have the talent to beat any one in this league, but currently we look as though we could lose to anyone away from home. We need to sort that out, and quickly.

Chelseamf™®© (U1677) stand by for the next headline Aguero spits at Cech.
Kun Aguero spat at Ceck in the recent game, Aguero was just past the half way line and spat at Ceck barely missing the goalkeeper who was on his goal line. What is the world coming to when player spit at one another.
