...Anyone care to tell me I'm wrong?
Yes we may be losing Cesc, but at times last season we ripped teams apart without him.
Yes we may be losing Nasri, but at times last season he was almost anonymous and had no influence on matches.
We have hungry players in the squad, a direct player in Gervinho, an immense talent in Ramsey, a Jack Wilshere and an awesome young keeper who has a whole season of 1st team football under his belt. We have Rosicky who looks close to regaining his old self. We have Miyaichi who looks confident and hungry.
We have been written off yet again and are now officially underdogs. And I LOVE being the underdog. It makes football even better.
Hell, even if we win nothing, I don't care. I LOVE WATCHING US PLAY FOOTBALL.
If we were favourites for every game then the wins would be unsatisfying and expected. Every loss would be met with moans and cries (they will be anyway, but who cares).
I'm quietly confident that we are going to prove a lot of people wrong this season... again.
Signings are coming, but last season Djourou and Koscielny at certain points had the best defensive record in the league. Vermaelen is now added to that mix too.
LB is a bit of a worry, but hey, Clichy was a liability at times there last season anyway.
No, I'm IMMENSELY looking forward to this season, I'm confident, and articles like that idiot Steve Howard's make me even more excited to prove the doubters wrong.
A storm is coming.... and it starts tomorrow. BRING IT ON!
WUMs won't be deleted, just laughed at.
I feel I'm the only optimistic gooner...

If they stay great.
If they go no problem a midfield of Wikshere Ramsey and song put the champions to the sword last season and Cesc (Jonas) may just be the player that has caused our failure to get silverware.
I think that is why the manager is not happy with add-ons in the deal. Barca, he could be the poisened chalice.

Cesc gone, but not forgotten. Nasri gone and not bothered, he will never be half the player Cesc is. Clichy gone - relieved We managed without them on occasions in the past I am confident Ramsey and Wilshere can step up. Plus we have Gervinho and Miyachi who both look to have tricks and pace. And Arsene has not finished spending yet ! Just get a decent commanding CB and a LB and a commanding defensive central mid Arsene - SORTED

How can you really hail the behaviour of this persona non grata Fabregas. It was all planed by him. He sold his house long before, let the media hype with the Barcelona tactics come in and force his move and refuse to put on a shirt again.... How can you respect such a person is beyond me.
