Seems to be back to his old self. Superb performances in the last couple of games.......numerous interceptions, countless penetrations from the back with stiff control and hard tackles.
Captain, Leader, Legend.
What has changed about John Terry?

A lot of the problems people had with Rafa were blown out of proportion or actually non existent (or at least had no baring on performances). But i genuinely believe he did not rate Terry at all and refused to accommodate him tactically, even when he did play him. under Robbie he wasnt really 100% fit and from what we have heard AVB had a mission from above to remove the influential old guard, plus his high line really exposed Terry.
Now it feels like he really has the backing of a manager who understands his strengths and how to hide his weaknesses.

He really is back to his best. Nailed on starter, he's a leader and when he wasn't playing we missed that.

Two things: He’s rediscovered his desire and hunger for the game, it is no coincidence that Mourinho is back in charge. Also he seems to have regained some fitness, he suffered a serious of injures then managers didn’t give him enough consistent chances to play his way back to full fitness.

"Penetrations" and "stiff control"
Which situation are we talking about JT rediscovering his form?

I don´t think that anything has changed with Terry. He is just as good as he´s always been.
I think that last season a lot of people falsely bought into the idea that Terry was past his best because Rafa was only playing him occasionally.
I never bought into that because whenever Terry played under Rafa he normally played well. It´s much more likely that Rafa had some kind of personal problem with Terry which is why he didn´t play him regularly.
I also think that the media helped to perpetuate this false idea that Terry was somehow past it in order to justify the fact that Terry was no longer playing for England.
What has become clear this season is that Terry is just as good as he´s always been and is still England´s best centre back by a country mile.
