Match Preview
Hull City visit Tottenham Hotspur for the second time in four days in their fourth round Capital One Cup clash.Sunday's Premier League encounter saw the two sides separated by a late Roberto Soldado penalty for Spurs, with the Tigers largely frustrating Andre Villas-Boas' side throughout. There have been mumblings of discontent at White Hart Lane despite Spurs sitting in the top four, with the North London side netting a relatively low nine goals in nine games.Villas-Boas has urged their supporters to back the team, launching a stinging attack on the fans after Sunday's tense atmosphere. They should, however, be confident of another victory over the Tigers having won their third round fixture at Aston Villa impressively, with goals from Jermain Defoe (2), Paulinho and Nacer Chadli ensuring a 4-0 victory.Hull currently sit in the top half of the Premier League table and have been somewhat of a surprise package, with results such as their 3-2 win over Newcastle at St James' Park showing that Steve Bruce's side cannot be underestimated. Before Sunday's match, the Tigers were on a six-match unbeaten run in all competitions including their third round 1-0 win over Huddersfield, thanks to a Nick Proschwitz strike. With both sides expected to make widespread changes, Bruce will be hoping that his side can bounce back from Sunday's defeat and increase the tension within White Hart Lane.

TOTTENHAM Team News
Tottenham are likely to be without defenders Danny Rose and Younes Kaboul as they host Hull in the fourth round of the Capital One Cup. Rose has a toe injury and Kaboul an adductor problem. Midfielder Etienne Capoue is expected to miss out as he continues his recovery from an ankle injury while defender Zeki Fryers (groin) is doubtful.Manager Villas-Boas will rotate his squad, meaning the likes of Erik Lamela, Brad Friedel, Defoe and even Emmanuel Adebayor, who has not played yet this season, could get run outs.

Hull City Tigers Team News
Hull are again operating at reduced capacity for their second visit to White Hart Lane. Allan McGregor (thigh), Danny Graham (knee), James Chester (hamstring) and Sone Aluko (calf) remain out, Jake Livermore cannot play against his parent club and Robert Koren and Robbie Brady are unlikely to be risked from the start.Curtis Davies and former Spurs midfielder Tom Huddlestone may also be confined to the bench as Bruce looks to preserve them for league duty.

Spurs are on their way to Wembley, Tottenham's gonna do it again! You can't stop them, the boys from Tottenham, the boys from WHL!

Still fail to see where I said they definitely will?

I have to be critical of AVB this season so far tho. We have a fantastic squad but lets be honest we are muddling our way thru games.

Most of our possession is in our own half or on the half way line and we rarely look like scoring. 2 defensive midfield players at home against distinctly average opposition has to be negative surely.

I never accused you of saying that....

With a possible semi final of Chelsea man u man City and spurs we have to do much better to win it

I thought that with AVB we were getting a talented tactician. Yet he seems relatively stubborn with his tactics which definitely does lead to predictability.

I was totally anti AVB but have to say that last season he actually own me over in a lot of ways but this season, sorry but I believe with the players we have available we are not doing anywhere near well enough.

No I am not suggesting sacking but I do think he has to have a big rethink and also he needs a plan B because we look exactly the same every single time we play no matter who the opposition is.

24 shots but just 3 on target... Hull had 2 on target and scored both says it all
