Millar Out, Souttar Staying

Mark Millar's gone on loan to Falkirk 'til January. For the best really, never really impressed and isn't going to get a chance without a serious injury crisis. Seemed a pretty pointless signing at the time and has proven that to be the case.

In other news, seems Souttar has rejected Sunderland. Fantastic news, would have been really disappointed had he disappeared to England, never to surface again. Nice to see some sense from a younger player. Hopefully he continues to impress & progress.

agree with that Hobo

I reckon the drinking culture our country has is a huge pitfall for up and coming players

how many players you think get to 16/17 /18 - discover clubs , drink n woman and then probably as a result are never heard of again

I dunno CT I just think we probably over hype/ estimate these young lads potential. Chris McCart? recently said these young guys dont have enough spare time in the day to go out bevyin it up and chasing women because of the strict routine they follow at celtic.

Tony Watt supposedly has an attitude problem.

Watt is a classic example , what attribute does he lack to become a first team regular at a big club ?

None abilty wise i would say , hes got most things in his locker other than needing to learn the game a bit more ... like when to pass , when to be greedy, when to hold it up and when to turn type thing

but his attitude has clearly been holding up his progress

Im not sure if hes out drinking with his pals or what but its clear he needs screw the nut and knuckle down more

Look at that wee guy grieg spence ( i think ) ...classic example

CT

I was having a look at our development team the other week there and it is scary to read the number of players in that squad who are either injured or just returning from long term injury.

Souttar staying is the only piece of good news is this horrible week for United, think they are trying to get him and Gauld to pen extensions

Seems Cifcti is up on violent conduct charges now, what an absolute joke Tuesday night has turned into of course there is no violent conduct charges for the guy who had Paton by the throat

The people who run the football is this country are determined to destroy it I'm sure, and now we have the unfairness of the Scots cup final being played at Parkheed & the two semis at Ibrox

Imagine the extra incentive for the United team in the cup knowing they could play the final or even the semi final in their own stadium. What a joke.

Look at the teams in the semis of the league cup, Perth, Aberdeen, Inverness & Edinburgh

I mean its not feckin rocket science is it

Well, it's not as if we have a ~70,000-seater stadium in the nation's capital or anything. Got to use Parkhead & Ibrox. No other option.

Souttar staying is great news and I'm really pleased Millar is out on loan too. Hopefully it becomes permanent. It was always a strange signing and just hasn't worked.

The Ciftci thing is a disgrace. It means that the red card he got was actually for pushing away someones hands who were on his chest. Shocking to send him off for that.

The citations are simply the cóck Lunny trying to make sure he gets done and that he can get a wee bit of revenge on United. Absolutely shocking.

Really hope Cally go to $h!t now, like to see them relegated at the end of the season, I'd rather have Raith, Dundee or Falkirk up anyway
