The Hatters travel up north to Gateshead to play this intriguing fixture against the north-eastern outfit Gateshead FC, more popularly known as the Heed to its thousands of adoring supporters. The Heed is definitely the form team of the division having won its last five (5) encounters including a 4-1 goalfest in the thrashing of high flying (but not for much longer) Nuneaton Town.
The Hatters, as Luton Town is known to its adoring fans and many others, are similarly in good form and lie third in the Skrill Premier League table, an excellent position from which to mount the challenge which will, one feels almost inevitably, bring the Champions title to the iconic Kennilworth Road.
Gary 'Mrs' Mills has the distinction of being the manager of the month for October, an honour which usually precipitates a series of calamitous results for the team of which the holder is the gaffer.
The Hatters' gaffer is the personable John Still who does not labour under the handicap of any such award. He, Luton and its amazing if slightly dim fans will most probably be without the services of Alex 'Denis' Lawless and Jon 'I'm not' Shaw for the afternoon's encounter.
All in all it promises to be a close hard fought encounter and I am going to predict The Heed 1 The Hatters 4.
