Afternoon
A much better performance yesterday, well, in the first half at least.
But after the triple half time sub, it left no chance of Hernandez getting on the pitch. And this is after scoring the winner against Stoke, then 2 against Norwich.
His attitude has been brilliant so far, and he seems to do better coming off the bench but surely its only a matter of time before he gets fed up, although its hard to drop RVP or Rooney.
I think there were some suggestions earlier on in the season that he was becoming frustrated and now i think it is becoming clear.
Carlos Vela has come out and said he should consider his future which isn't surprising.
Now i have just seen on Hernandez's twitter he retweeted an article from Skysports about what Vela said, whcih to me means he must be thinking about moving on. I would personally be very annoyed by this as he is a class 3rd choice striker and supersub, who's all round game has improved.
Do we think Hernandez will go next summer or can we hold on to him?

I don't see us getting Gundogan.
I'd like us to go all out for Lars bender personally.

They'd both be great but it wouldn't suprise me if we just don't buy a CM

I like Hernandez but if anyone thinks he has enough in his all round game to start regularly for a top club then they are insane in the mind.
Even Mexico dropped him today.

Lars Bender signed a contract extension with Leverkusen this week, keeping him at the club until 2019.

If it's a choice between Welbeck and Chicha, no contest. Welbeck may be an above average footballer when it comes to link up play, but we already have that in Rooney and RVP. Hernandez's eye for goal makes him the perfect 3 striker imo.

Thing is its unlikely to be a direct choice between the two as Welbeck won't want to leave and can also play wide.

People make comments such as "I'd rather sell Welbeck" as if it's relevant to the situation. It isn't.
Welbeck doesn't want to leave. Seemingly, he's quite content with the squad role he has. Furthermore, any manager in Europe would be content with what he offers as a squad man. He's versatile, can press, often effective and will improve. He's homegrown and happy. He's pretty much the perfect squad player at this moment in time.
Hernandez wants game time. He isn't versatile and he'll never be good enough to start here regularly if United want to remain a force. The difference is that he may not be happy with his role, hence he may leave. At his age, it's completely understandable. Good luck to him. He isn't a perfect squad player if he isn't content.
Ultimately, talk of choosing between the two is nonsense, as neither have any great influence in regards to where the other plays. Welbeck will play fleetingly from the left, occasionally up top, while Hernandez will only play when Van Persie does not.
Either way, I see little point in retweeting what Vela is saying. It isn't really needed.
