back in business!

thank flook for that! so what have we missed?
Well rangers are still champs and haven't done a thing, meanwhile celtic have paraded their two pre-contract players and swapped Reid for some other guy on the board. All in all pretty quiet.
Who do you think will be the next OF signing?
Al go for Celtic, Shane Long, 3 million.

Alright Paisley. Great to be back. When are you giving us the 2 million for Goodie?

haha hes a good player but Gers wont meet a 2million price tag. we're far too tight fisted for that! We usually go for the measely offer, almost insulting bid, just to show the player that we are interested, then let him cause disruption and play the wantaway role, before coming in with an improved offer, hoping the club will accept. so...500k?

I have to say that I'm glad - new606 is ok but there's less banter.....but it's nice to have the option of wanting to have a serious discussion or have a laugh ...so i'll stay on both I reckon. Will I EVER get any work done though now?

I think all will depend on the outcome of this case, Thompson seems to think it will either go to trial or be dropped in the next few weeks. Hopefully alll is well and United get some much needed cash for him

not worth 2 million, though would be good to see him at rangers

thank fook this is back up right enough ))))

we should start the bidding for pleasentcock at £1mil - haggle for a bit with an end price of £1.5mil - this would be a good price for him.

Scooby I admire your optimism, however with the case now looking to be booted out and several EPL clubs interested the tag will be higher than that. United don't need to sell now as he's contracted to 2013.

If Snodgrass is going for 3.5, Goodie is easily worth 2 million.

Arabian - agree with your comments regards Snodgrass however clubs in england have and do command over inflated prices - if the price for Goodwillie reaches £2 mil - I doubt we will spend that on him
