Drop between title winning year & last year

Hi all, Spurs fan in peace

I think it is generally accepted that City's performances and desire dropped off last season after the jubilation of the title win, but were there any City players who actually performed better last season than in the title winning year?

I don't think it was the players playing badly last season tbh but the niggling injuries they picked up Take Kompany and Aguero, both missed nearly a third of the season in the last campaign plus Silva came back nackered from the euro's, Richards injury cost him 6 months. All squads have injuries, so its no excuse but many United fans think the season before injuries to Rio and Vidic cost them and Arsenal fans think RVP's injuries cost them for 6 seasons.
