What can you say after that?
I'll be honest and say I expected it to happen. I was really pleased when Shane equalised as at that point, the likelihood of whether Chelsea will score a winner is 'probably'. When Sessegnon scored, I barely even celebrated. Not because I wasn't happy we'd took the lead, but simply because that likelihood of Chelsea scoring suddenly changes from 'probably' to 'definitely, you can bet your house on it'.
I might sound like I'm about 60 years old. I'm actually 20, I've just seen this enough to know what was going to happen. The only thing I'm surprised about is that the winner for them never came.
After seeing the 'penalty' incident again numerous times, I must admit I have sympathy for the ref and understand his decision, in fact I think it was the correct one. As Ramires charges into the box, you can clearly see that Steven Reid makes an effort to get within 3 yards of him, therefore restricting his airspace. At Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea a goal down and in the last minute, this is a clear foul.
Honestly though, I couldn't be more proud. Little old Albion have actually gone and taken a point there. Not only that, but to come from behind after conceding a silly goal at the worst time. Especially pleased for Shane Long, he still has a part to play here yano!
Boing boing. Bring on the derby.

Back not long myself and I agree there was an air of inevitability about the goal. Didn't think there was anything wrong with the Ivanovic challenge. Its just that Ivanovic is a bit of pansy given the size of him. Once they started bleating over our second goal I said that the ref would end up awarding Chelsea a penalty if they didn't score themselves. Could see it coming a mile off. Don't know what it is but refs just hate to see their precious elite clubs lose at home and then be blamed for it.
I've seen the penalty a few times and it is not a penalty in my book. I don't know if it is a dive or what, but it is not a penalty, more a clash of legs.
Aside from that I thought we did well today. Going forwards I don't think we were particularly great yet scored twice at Chelsea. Sign of the progress we are making. Defensively we were quite sound other than Ridgewell () and the last 10 when the Chelsea began to throw everyone forwards.
Overall excellent point which would have been 3 had the referee had a pair of balls.Another tough fixture out the way as well. 9th in the league considering the start we had is real progress.

I loved the way we came out second half and attacked. I still haven't seen the highlights but apart from Ridgewell's dithering I gather Brunt missed a chance for 3-1 with team mates well placed.

You are like a bunch of 12 year old girls at a One Direction book signing session. Blah, bleat, squeal, wah, shriek.
I pity poor Clarke with you lot behind him. Yes, the same man who's head you were calling for a month ago.

We still getting relegated, Herb?
Just trying to think back to what your prediction was.
Something about having 1 point and just above Crystal Palace by now.
