anything unless you turn it into wins.
This weekend West Ham 53% Cardiff 58% Arsenal 60%
Manchester City 63% and Spurs 65% all lost despite having more
possession.
You can also add Chelsea 68% and Everton with a huge 73%
into the mix as both teams really should have lost,Chelsea only
drew due to a dodgy penalty and Everton due to some woeful
finishing by their opponents.
Teams that have more possession seem to be getting picked off at will
against those teams who are willing to concede possession.
Will the trend continue over the next few weeks or will some
managers realise that sometimes playing a more risky ball
could unlock a defence that is designed to absorb pressure
and attack on the break
Having more possession doesn't mean

Did Arsenal have a shot on goal today or even a shot at all?
No point in playing keep ball. The only place the ball belongs is in the net if you want to win.

However.....Liverpool had 70%~ possession and walloped Fulham
Guess only good teams do it, eh!

Overall, you're much more likely to win if you have more of the ball, but possession isn't everything. In Evertons case, we need to shoot from the edge of the area more. Even if we don't score from the shots, it adds unpredictability to our attacks.

Do they give four points now for a win with lots of possesion. I would have 20% possesion for a 1-0 win every week.
