4-4-2

AVB has to get his head of his a ss and go for this formation when it comes to teams we should be beating. I'm all for having the 2 defensive midfield formation when it comes to the likes of City away but teams like Newcastle at home are games we should be winning and we have struggled every single time against these sides and winning by the odd goal was eventually going to come back to haunt us. The formation is negative and it leaves Soldado who looks a real frustrated figure right now completely isolated and unable to showcase his excellent finishing ability because he has no support. I love AVB but really don't like his stubborn nature where he feels this formation is the only way forward just because we have scraped a few wins. I would go this line up every home game and away game against lesser teams...

Lloris

Walker Verts Chirichis Rose

Lamela Sandro Townsend

Eriksen

Soldado Adebayor

Its attacking and exciting plus has the protection from Sandro and has proper wingers and not this inverted b olloks that just doesn't work.

How to play an inverted winger

Double up

Play with a DM

Set him on the inside position,

Show inverted winger inside,

Cover the space,

Work hard 90 mins.

= nothing for Townsend all game

LLM - all you've done is switch the wide players

Is Siggy really a winger?

I do not expect inverted wingers to last the test of time. They will be like the 3-5-2 formation or the sweeper formation in the 90's a huge contribution to the game but a craze that will fade away.

You can always go around a player but you cannot go through them.

Massively disagree there LLM, I think they're here to stay. Traditional wingers are declining

LLM team is pretty much the team I want and have wanted for weeks. For all of the reasons stated.
