For all his ability im afraid even Jose is not as powerful as November

The team looked wrong before it even ran out to me. I feel Jose is trying to make a point to some players, thats his choice as a manager, but I felt the team selected on Saturday lacked balance.

Other then man city, spurs 2nd half and arsenal games I have not been impressed at all this year

We are suffering in two ways in my view:

1. Lack of quality passing from our CM means we don't set up early phase play well enougyh or quick enough, menaing by the time our midfield 3 get the ball the oppo is set up with two rows of 4 and there is no way through. There is not much Jose can do about this to the January window unless he plays Luiz or even Oscar in the deeper CM role, would that work? I have no idea!

2. We lack width and this is where I think Jose can do something. imo he should rop both Brana and Cole and play Azi and Bertrand. I feel both will provide more width and this will help in particular Hazard who needs a decot runner so he does not awlays have three oppo defenders on his arrse.

But having said that we are not the ony ones suffering in this way. City could not break down Sunderland and Spurs in the first hafd agst Newcastle were going nowhere.........It is getting harder to break these teams down who just come to defend, they are becoming very good at it

The thing is when mourinho plays oscar as number 10 then we will struggle to break teams down mourinho tactics are heavily based on counter attacks and at home it is simply not working actually u can say its not working all round and on top Ramires lampard combo is horrific to say the least I think it's time to put mata back in as number ten and drop oscar in Central midfield with Ramires lampard on the bench Willian hazard mata behind either Torres or eto

Jose...NEVER ever use this again...in fact Lamps now needs to be on the bench & used sparingly as an impact sub with 20 mins to go

I would add 1st half agst Hull, agst Bayern till we went down to ten men and Schalke away....

Otherwise it has been dross to watch
