from one result, if we produce the same match and bendtner scored they will say its a fantastic performance right??

It's true, and the same goes regarding how some people got carried away with our win vs Dortmund.

pretty much. All about extremities with the media.

I think the fact was that Arsenal were going to lose a couple of games.
Dortmund, Chelsea, Liverpool, Dortmund, United is a ridiculously difficult run of games.
The loss against Dortmund was our own fault, the loss against Chelsea didn't matter, the victories against Liverpool and Dortmund were massive and the loss against United was disappointing.
The media won't give Arsenal a chance until we win the league. And I feel the same way. Until we DO win then all this "Arsenal are good enough" bs is worthless pandering. No-one wants that.
I would rather they said we were shat until we lift the trophy. The only things that matters is we get more points then any other team. Playing nice football doesn't win you the league. United have been the masters of that.
We need to grind out 4 wins now so that we are top going into the games against Chelsea and City. That is all that matters. Forget about this match and move on.

I was amazed by the arsenal hype before the game and the trolling of man utd. The media seem to react to results not performances. Paul Merson for example didn't watch our 2 games against real sociedad and came to a conclusion if arsenal can beat dortmund man utd must be easy lol. We all know arsenal won it the ugly way, arsenal had 2 chances and scored from there 1st shot I believe.
What I noticed more is this season teams defenses are much stronger then usual, maybe jose mourinho coming in and the need to keept things tight has made it a very tight league as if games are tight top teams gonna drop points.

Media have been exactly the same with United, only actually had one or two really disappointing results but some of them were making out we are a midtable team....

Arsenal leading the league for a few weeks (still) by a thin squad, and lost a game we are not contenders.
United had a bad start, won a few games then they are.
Stupid.

Arsenal are title contenders if they can keep grinding out the results. The worrying thing though is arsenal strikeforce.

Thing is they hate Arsenal and Chelsea. They love spurs for some reason. Manchester clubs especially utd and Liverpool fans run the media.
----------
This myth again it's just ridiculous, any fan of any club can say the media hate their club and love others, obviously their are Journos who have their allegiances (have you ever for example seen John Cross in the Mirror who must be the biggest Gunner Journo there is) so their bias will come across but as a whole there is not a club that is loved or hated by the media.
Look at the Guardian, all season they have been printing blogs about how well Arsenal are doing but I would not say that the guardian love Arsenal just like, despite John Cross' repeated love in articles about Arsenal I could not say that the Mirror love Arsenal just cause one of their writers is a big Gunner.
Your comment smacks of small club mentality, can you name any of these so called Man U and LFC fans who run the media?

The media sensationalise the news?
In other news; 'man lands on moon'.
