Twas just a bit of a stutter.
I've said this over and over again. Of late, Arsenal have become adept at beating the average, midtable teams and below. No matter what the naysayers say, that's where the title's won.
Especially when you look at how the other big clubs like Chelsea, City and Man U stumble.
Man U did well yesterday. But with all due respect, I think it's only a matter of time before they slip against some faceless side.
Chelsea got away easy. While we saw what happened with City.
A very frustrating loss last night. But we need to take it on the chin and move on. Something I'm confident Arsenal can do.
Arsenal Will Bounce Back

"Are you the only one who praises Giroud? It was a critique of those who say Sturrige is average yet will praise Giroud and say he's good."
But it's not relevant as no one mentioned Giroud.

Both did f'ack all outside the box. But let's ignore the chasm between the two in ability, technique and talent. Romario was just a tap in merchant too I guess.
No offence mate. That was a shocking shocking comparison.
You're acting as if Romario was Hernandez ver 2.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ffs. I wasn't comparing the two of them. The idiot Oz was being critical of pure goalscorers and heaping praise on Giroud. I also mentioned gerd muller who did fack all else but score.
Goals win games. That was my point.
Romario is one of the best goal scorers who ever lived. But Oz wwould rather have Giroud than him because Giroud is a team player.

Arsenal only need to play two or three games without Giroud to show, once and for all, how lost we are without his hold-up play.
If we had an accomplished inside-forward on the right (not that headless chicken in Henry's shirt), our overall play would be even better, because I've lost count of how many times Giroud has held the ball up, only to have nobody to feed.
In 1970, a lot of Brazilians wanted Tostao dropped as well, because he didn't score enough. But he was kept in the side because of the role he played in liberating Pele.

What hold up play?
It seems so many are fixated on this hold up play - how many times does Giroud take down a ball played into him, hold it for 5 or 6 seconds before laying it to a team mate?
Rarely, is the answer.

I want a facking goal scorer not a hold up player.

1 goal in like 700 minutes

It's not great but he had a hand in many of the goals we scored in those 700minutes
It will no doubt bother him, I think he's said as much in an interview. The problem is he's not going to get much rest what with 2 playoff games before southampton
