Both did f'ack all outside the box. But let's ignore the chasm between the two in ability, technique and talent. Romario was just a tap in merchant too I guess.

Goals win games. That was my point.

Romario is one of the best goal scorers who ever lived. But Oz wwould rather have Giroud than him because Giroud is a team player.

It is relevant when we have a seriously chit main strikeryet criticise others

Arsenal only need to play two or three games without Giroud to show, once and for all, how lost we are without his hold-up play.

If we had an accomplished inside-forward on the right (not that headless chicken in Henry's shirt), our overall play would be even better, because I've lost count of how many times Giroud has held the ball up, only to have nobody to feed.

In 1970, a lot of Brazilians wanted Tostao dropped as well, because he didn't score enough. But he was kept in the side because of the role he played in liberating Pele.

Arsenal only need to play two or three games without Giroud to show, once and for all, how lost we are without his hold-up play.

It seems so many are fixated on this hold up play - how many times does Giroud take down a ball played into him, hold it for 5 or 6 seconds before laying it to a team mate?

Rarely, is the answer.

Just when I thought fannydingo couldn't get any more thick

Talksport were this morning banging on about Giroud being on a goal drought because he hasnt scored since Palace

4games or 3 weeks counts as a goal drought now

1 goal in like 700 minutes
