FIFA's pointless new rule for kits at WC

Anyone else heard about FIFA enforcing a new rule for kits at the WC next year? Supposedly all kits must be either all light coloured or all dark coloured which means teams can't wear dark shorts with light tops or the other way round.

Sounds like a little thing and maybe it is but it means England must wear white shorts, so to Germany and Argentina, France cant wear white shorts and neither can Holland or Italy, Brazil from now on can not wear Blue shorts with their yellow tops, same with Spain who will wear red shorts.

Just seems completely unnecessary, certain kits are so iconic, especially the yellow, blue and white of Brazil. Changing history just for the sake of it.

Or even worse, test teams both seem to play in the same colour strip.

from the same governing body that decided players shouldn't be allowed to play with their sock down, shirts hanging out or sleeveless tops.

SB: Well, for a start they might want to think about wearing tighter shorts.

So not all decisions FIFA make about football strips are bad.

Can't really think of any international team that do this, but what about a team with black and white stripes?
