The goal you went mental for.

Torres rounding Valdes gets a worthy mention but that was pure relief.

Over the years/decades has there been a goal that made you go absolutely mental?

For instance, I would personally have to go for Drogbas equaliser against Barca in the 2-2 draw back in 2006. I remember shouting at the TV telling Essien to keep the ball on the ground. Instead he rides a foul (what a beast he was) and lofts it over to Terry who nods down to Drogba who swivels and smashes home. I went mental and i mean mental!!!!! Raised my fist in the air so hard i accidentally punched the fella watching next to me bang in the nose drawing blood. Will never forget that.

So what goal made you go really insane?

Been so many great memories but it has to be ole in 99, to win that game in that fashion when in truth bayern played us off the park mostly......but to do something no other team has done in that fashion just summed up united under fergie! Went totally insane in the nou camp and for anybody how was there after in the ramblers...... Boy what a night!!!

I don't know why but I really enjoyed most of Arshavins goals more than anyone else's.

The clunk of the net when he scored at old Trafford from distance and his trademark finger to lip celebration while the crowd boo and you can hear the faint cheer of the away support. The last one against Liverpool in the 4-4 and the one away to Liverpool " you could have 2 (or 3?) pepe reinas¡"

Alonso's equaliser in Istanbul 2005. Penalty parried and then buried the rebound.

A real hands on head scenario one second and pints on beer in the air the next. Brilliant!

Zola's return from injury to score the winner against Stuttgart in the Cup winners Cup final off the bench.

Scored within seconds of coming on the pitch for Flo.
If I remember correctly.

Sammy McIlroy equaliser in the '79 cup final, only for Alun Sunderland to score for Arsenal.

Villa Park 1999. FA Cup semi-final. Giggs putting the gooner cheats to the sword.

Cantona's FA cup winning goal against the scouse whiners was pretty emotional as well.

steve bull debut for england v scotland

comes off the bench, catches a long ball forward off the back of his neck/shoulder, spins on to it and slams it past the keeper to set up an england win v the old foe. local legend and terrace hero of a struggling team hits the biggest possible stage, giving an army of wolves fans something to be proud of.

as a 17 yr old wolves fan, watching the game at a house party, half cut and surrounded by mates, this was a great moment in life. cue total mayhem as a bunch of us bounce round the lounge, fall to the floor, scream, go tearing round the house, hug, laugh, reach for more drinks...

a shame to see how little england games matter to me these days but a great memory from a less cynical age of football.
