.......and for football, just wow and judging by tonight and no way am I getting carried away after tonight, but that muppet John Delaney cost us any chance of that by offering trappadictoome a new contract before what was only ever going to be a shambles of a euros.....I mean anybody but
Estonia and this conversation would not be happening.
Always said we had players who can play, they just needed pointing in the right direction but nooooo we got more of the same crap for a nearly a whole campaign to add to the pain.
To see him with his BS sound bites since an appointment that should have been achieved long ago with some fore thought and cop on of the knowledgable Irish fans and some media, makes me want to rip off his arm and beat him with the soggy-end.
I'm off the lush for November, otherwise I'd be ripping.
Keep it up lads........France 2016... Bonjour .
I've always wanted to visit Brazil...

I'm sceptical about the MON-Keano partnership to be honest, but I'll always give people the support until I see otherwise and I included Trap in that by the way: I was among his biggest supporters in his early period.
Delaney is a cretin though, wish he'd step aside and maybe we could use the proceeds of his ludicrous salary to help our game.

Under Trapp we would've struggled to win tonight. He decided a long time ago we are only capable of long ball football and forced us to play that way no matter the opposition. We got outplayed by far worse nations and should've at least given Sweden a run for 2nd place. Anyway hopefully this isn't another false dawn. Things can only get better

A great point was made tonight lads and it's that if it was Spain or Latvia the same formation and plan would have been the same.
Tonight they were told...You The Boss...express, simple.

Was so refreshing to see the team want to pass to each other, playing some nice triangles around the centre and not hoofing it long.
Needed a bit more cutting edge up top but overall very happy I made an effort to go watch it.
My MOTM was either Hoolihan or McLean, couldnt pick between either.
Though McGeady was the poorest player on the pitch apart from his goal.
Couldnt rate the defence or keeper since they had nothing to do.

Also was good to see those French s lose their Play-Off first-leg, wonder if they'll need to cheat their way into the World Cup again for the return leg in Paris!
