I just wanted to give you guys my honest, detailed opinion about the lad.
What an unbelievable, unique and undoubtedly technically gifted player! The man has a lethal appetite for goals and when in the penalty area, he very rarely disappoints, much like Jay Spearing when clubbing. His dribbling, pace, attitude and unbelievable tekkers are exquisite and his elegance on the ball is second to none. The way he drifts past players reminds me of a young Ronaldo and that acceleration in his legs would give any old defender nightmares. Under King Kenny, he will develop even further and surpass Pele, Hugo Sanchez, Gerd Muller as one of the best ever strikers to have ever graced the beautiful game. People say 35 million pounds was a risk but what do they know....an absolute bargain if you asked me. I would rather pay 35 million for him than the 1 million Mike Ashley was suggesting earlier on. 1 million?? That's absolutely atrocious for a player who will be challenging Messi for the Ballon D'Or one day. What a numpty.
Rumours have it that Real Madrid were seriously considering looting Liverpool on Tuesday, just so they could nick Mr. Carroll.

Everyone would like Young in there team. That's why so many clubs wanted to sing him and that's why we had too pay so much for him (to beet off the competition).

astleys £1m valuation is about right when considering his footballing ability. However a ponytail like that is worth £35m alone so king kenny saved a cool £1m off the usual RRP. One swing of those locks to the left, a little shimmy, and then choosing to go right will leave defenders on the seat of their pants- reminiscent of the equally talented ronaldinho

Don't get me wrong, I would have liked Young. I think he is a good player, I just think you lot need to appreciate Downing's qualities as well.

the ponytail gives him barca dna so in january expect to see xavi, iniesta and busquets claiming 'he belongs in catalunya- he should come' followed by a cool £17.5m bid plus add ons next summer. No doubt that will alert city who will get the cheque book out. if you're a marquee name like this fella, you will only end up at camp nou or etihad stadium
