Mourinho was the man to take over.

Are we really judging how good a manager is by signing on a youngester?

just one of several reasons.
the only reason you have come up with is that he is a winner... glory at any cost for you, i guess?

So what "other" ways is Moyes a BETTER MANAGER than Mourinho?

No way to answer that until he has spent a bit of time with the huge budgets, pressures, media circus and everything else that comes with a top club.
As I said before, i'm not saying Moyes is perfect, just that Mourinho isn't.
There are 3 things that Moyes does have over Mourinho though.... He brings through youth, he is a dignified man and he has proven that he will stick by his club.
I'm sure you will scoff at such things, because he hasn't got a trophy... that's up to you. I'm proud that UTD have tried to go for longevity rather than instant glory.

Jheez some of you guys are pathetic, the seasons not even over yet
I never thought i would agree with Ji Sung Parks cousin
But with The amount of trophies you've won in recent years you should be grateful.
What exactly are you scared of, other fans laughing at you
Mourinho would have been a short term fix, but eventually he'll get bored, get the hump, fall out with someone and then leave or get sacked and then you'll have to find another manager.
SAF choose Moyes cos he believed that he was a better solution long term, it might not work out but give him a chance.
You guys need to enjoy football for what it is, its not a bragging contest.

You cannot judge how good a manager will be for your club based purely on trophys won in this regard jose wins hands down everytime against moyes. If you were to use that argument sven ericksen would also get the nod ahead of moyes. I am using sven as an example because he was supposedly in the frame when fergie first spoke about retiring and what a bullet utd dodged there.
The fact is jose was never going to get the utd job despite all his successes. He dosent fit the profile of what the club want in a manager representing the club.

I find it strange how our summer transfer debacle is all down to Woodward and Adnan signing a new contract is all down to Moyes
For the record, I believe Moyes should be given more time and articles like these are just pathetic

Superb comment.
If Moyes delivers some trophies, let alone builds a kind of dynasty worthy of Fergie's successor, a number of people on this board will literally have no right to take pleasure in these.
Are we happy with the start we have made? - No.
Do we know for sure that Moyes has what it takes to carry the torch? - No.
There are legitimate concerns and questions to be debated. What I don't recognise as the behaviour of a supporter is writing off new players and manager at such an early stage and leaping triumphantly (and selectively) on setbacks which support their prophesies of disaster.

Did Woodward risk his neck on the back of two defeats by playing an 18 year old away to Sunderland?
Of course Moyes is the one behind getting adnan to stay.
