Last Saturday`s 6-0 defeat was definitely rigged, and I would suspect the police will investigate and call it null and void. The game will be replayed and Spurs given a 3-0 lead with a minute to play.

This game was about as above board as they come.....

two teams entered...one turned up

Betting is a mug's game. The one good thing about match-fixing is that it might stop people wasting their money.

I was suspicious when City took their foot off the gas after 60 minutes.

How so? Match-fixing is done by drug cartles and mafia dons. It'll help to convert their black money to white.

If outcomes of games are pre-determined, then things like odds, form etc all go out of the window. They become meaningless.

If I decided to go and place a bet on a particular match, there would be a doubt in my mind whether it had been fixed. No point trying to use skill to predict a result if it has been pre-determined. That will hopefully be enough to put off people from gambling.

Come to think of it. Tottenham have been involved in some heavy defeats in the past 2 years

Concededing 5 goals against Chelsea and Arsenal twice last year
Concededing 6 against City and 5 two years back

Losing 3-0 at home to a team without a striker.

That's some dodgy scorelines right there or are they just sht?

I don't think Tottenham's players are competent enough to follow a gameplan to fix a match.

The thing is picking a match that has been fixed a problem. There are 1000's of football matches every weekend (10 out of 12 months) in Europe and UK.
