Shame to hear that. He's a customer where I work and I've met him a couple of times. Nice bloke who took and gave a bit of banter when I said I wouldn't serve anyone with an arsenal jacket on! Hope he beats it.

Of course all cancer is serious, but does anyone know the degree of seriousness in his case ?

I hope he is comfortable with this being widely reported in the national media...who do they think they are? Even as a Spurs fan I have always admired Pat Rice's loyalty, dignity and no-nonsense attitude. He doesn't strike me as the kind of fella that would appreciate this news being bandied around about his personal life. I wish him a speedy recovery.
