I still think the top 4 will be the same as last year. I think we'll still finish above Liverpool, they've brought some utter g@sh.

I think spurs will struggle to reclaim that 4th spot,the Thursday nights and the fact they should go much further in the Europa will bring real pressure on a squad with relatively few quality players in it.Liverpool may not have bought top class signings but only a fool would dismiss their chances as arsenal are considerably weaker,spurs are the same albeit with their best player wanting out and Liverpool having no European matches to distract them.Sunderland,villa and Everton could well be pushing for top 6 spots also without a European distraction so it's going to be tough
just staying in the top 6 for spurs never mind 4th.

Tell me the difference between playing Wednesday and Saturday / Thursday and Sunday.

I doubt we'll get "further" in the Europa than we did in the CL. We got to the QFs!! The Europa has some decent teams in it and i'd be surprised if we played all our big guns in the games. So effectively if we "rest" our top players for Thursday nights shouldnt we be in a better position than last season (i.e. players having a week off to rest as opposed to two games in a week?!)

Because champions league games are tues/wed and more often than not it's still Sunday afterwards.We hardly ever play on Saturday's anymore

4,5,6 could be any way round imo.

It's not the same
Europa is thursday and Sunday,always only 2 days in between
CL is Tues/wed and sat/sun so the rest in between varies between 3 or 4 days

Thursday - Sunday = 3 days

Sunday - Tuesday/Wednesday = 2 or 3 days

Go figure.
