Strong squad for tomorrow

I remember just a month or two ago, the phrase 'the team picks itself' could never have been more applicable. Not only was our form good, but we had a ridiculous injury list, meaning that Arsene had no choice but to play the same team every game with a very weak bench.

Things look different now, thankfully. We survived that testing period, and now the injury list is beginning to clear up. The bench will be strong tomorrow, no matter what team Wenger puts out, and that is very reassuring. Even someone like Monreal has proven himself to be a fantastic squad member, and more than good enough to be a first choice pick.

I think the best team we have right now is:

Szczesny
Sagna Kos Per Gibbs
Flamini Wilshere
Walcott Ramsey Ozil
Giroud

People have been pointing out Ozil's lack of form lately, but IMO he's doing a tad better than Santi. This is just from what I've observed, people may disagree.

So we could have the likes of Rosicky, Cazorla, Arteta, Vermaelen and Monreal on the bench tomorrow. Confidence in this team is growing day-by-day for me.

Cazorla has been playing out wide.

Cazorla in the middle is a complete different player

Would like to see Walcott given a chance up front with Santi, Ozil and Ramsey playing behind him.

I think we will need OG's defensive contribution tomorrow. In other games why not.

Walcott won't play tomorrow anyway, think it will be the team the OP has posted with Cazorla and Arteta in for Walcott and Wilshere.

Theo has to win his place, as much as I think we benefit from him. He's been unlucky being out for 7 weeks and no one is playing that poorly to make way for him.

Cazorla hasn't been on the best of forms lately. But on form he is un droppable.

It also depends whether Walcott is capable of playing up front on his own. Crazy how good our midfield is.

I don't know why people say Cazorla is in bad form, he has come back from injury and has been in and out of the team, I am not worried about him one bit, he should start whenever fit as far as I'm concerned.

Yeh. Although I think Wenger should start rotating sooner than later to reduce the chances of burn out. With our creativity, theo could easily play up top imo, his movement is very gd. If Giroud needs a break.

Ramsey should be next to Flamini. He has been very effective for the team playing from deeper if he plays. Personally I would say he needs a rest before the big games we have coming up.

Agreed Rex, we shouldn't be afraid to drop our best players if they are off form and we have exceptional replacements.

Cazorla will find his form, and it will be all the better if he is fresh.
