I wouldn't be so happy knowing my team became no.1 only by default - by India getting injured and knackered. That too after feeding SRT a dodgy vindaloo at Lords and using bodyline tactics against game-changer Yuvraj.
It's upto the english to prove they aint no stopgap stuff (likely) by showing some spine and winning in the subcontinent for a change.
Why so jubilant ?

When England used the excuse of being knackered we were taunted by the indian fans and told that is no excuse to play badly, stop crying. Why is it now a valid excuse for indian fans ?
We are also missing Trott and Tremlett lest not forget.

Pathetic back tracking from the mouthy Indian wums.
Accept you were simply were not good enough to beat a well organised, well prepared and more skilled TEAM.
I do feel for the decent loyal Indian fans. They deserve better.
There would be only one winner against a group of under prepared, complacent individuals.

hmm In my lifetime there have been 4 excellent cricket teams. The West Indies, Australia, South Africa and us. Who on earth has ever appreciated any efforts the indians have come up with, scoring thousands on their boring dusty dry hot wickets? Not this poster.
