It's still Fergie's team at the moment + Fellaini to be fair to him.

He does need time and transfer windows to impose his own ideas and players on the squad. I think Moyes will still be at United next season even if we finish 5th or 6th this year.

They will give him two full seasons and a few more transfer windows to get it right. They won't just sack him.

If we get top 4 this season and have a good summer in the transfer market......we'll come back as good as ever.

Moyes will be a winner at United thats for sure. People say we were route 1 under him.....??

But you cant have players of the quality he had Ossie, Baines, Coleman, Mirallas, Pienarr etc and lump it long. He played the percentages and save us from going under 11 years ago.

Fergie left a side needing an overhaul and he is the man for the job. Top four is a minimum United should aim for

As for flirting/whatever nonce-sence Rob typed....

Well I will be happy with the style we play. I assume you only know of fergie at United.

It was just gobble-d-goook.

You have a good manager, he will be shown respect I think.....well maybe a few panto boo's. Fellaini will kop for it, but he allowed us to bring in McCarthy and he has not been missed to be fair.

Fellaini did well for us,but I got the feeling that Martinez may have been somewhat relieved when Moyes came in for him.

I think that he is not a Martinez type of player, when you look back at players Martinez has managed and bought in the past.

Like we have done with deals in the past we held out for top dollar and got it,on that score our board has done well in its transfer dealings

Phil. As soon as Moyes went we all knew Fellaini wouldfollow. I like the clubs stance on Baines...

I hope Baines stays and we get him tied down to a contract that keeps him at the club until he retires Arouna.

I do know that under Martinez there is a less reliance on Baines as a provider than under Moyes. This could mean if the talks don't go well that Baines won't be missed as much as we may believe.

For me as with every Evertonian, our side with Baines is far stronger than our side without Baines

Will be interesting to see how it pans out.

If I were making the decisions then even if he didnt sign I would pet him see out his current deal. He is ultra professional so would not sulk. He is more valuable in the side than playing elsewhere.....even for a big fee

Didn't hear it myself but was told that sky sports had reported that he was close to signing a new five year deal
