Almost 5 years of ducking and still going strong.
Mayweather looks to name his next opponent next week but that opponent is highly unlikely to be Manny Pacquiao.
When Mayweather was asked about fighting Pacquiao he claims he doesn't know who he is?
Just the latest of the long line of excuses from Floyd.
Floyd's opponent is widely accepted to be Amir Khan.
Pacquiao's contract with Top Rank runs out at the end of 2014, so Floyd will need another excuse to duck the fighter of the decade.
Mayweather to duck Pacquiao once again.

It really says something when you have to have the Mayweather fans making excuses for their idol.
Floyd's brainwashing propaganda has really done a number on you lot.

Just guaging opinions from other boxing forums, i'd say about 90% of fans are calling this Khan fight the biggest cherrypick of them all. Not many are happy with this fight being potentially made and i think Mayweather's camp will be aware of the online reaction, they're not stupid enough to just pick any fighter and believe it will sell. If what we're reading about the Guerrero and Canelo fights then I dont even think Showtime made huge profits from them. I think Mayweather is biding his time. Waiting till the end of the year to see what his options are. Dont think this Khan fight is a done deal. There's cherrypicks by Floyd and then there's CHERRYPICKS and even the casuals arent dumb enough to think Khan would cause Mayweather problems. Although saying that, it could be a tune up fight for a potential Pacman fight in September.. Doubt it though.

A Khan fight is just as legit as a Paq fight. Both were splattered in their previous fights against good fighters. At least Khan wasn't splattered by a fighter already totally schooled by Floyd. I'd pick Garcia to beat JMM and with something to spare.
Floyd picking Paq is therefore also cherry picking.

I see all Paq ballkissers are ducking the obvious question. What has he done to earn a shot at the top? Wasn't he lying face down ass up in the fight before Rios? That type of position is normally what spurs Paq to fight a guy but not Floyd.

im not a pacman ballkisser but you just compared a mayweather pacman fight to a mayweather amir khan fight. that's a ludicrous statement. Khan is a nobody compared to pacquiao, pacman even after that loss is still 10x the fighter that khan is, future hall of famer, 8 division world champion and p4p, one of the world's best and yes that's even after that knockdown, pacman may not beat mayweather now but he's probably the only boxer left right now who has a better chance than the rest of the options.

Your first sentence -
He should fight some live opponents and not a walking punchbag.
Was followed by this one -
As for Khan. Its a gimme fight for Floyd. Every champion has had a gimme fight throughout history. Ali had many of them.
Which is actually so funny it's untrue.

Floyd has been fighting live opponents all the time. This will be huge in the UK. Moreover all opponents for Floyd are gimme fights.
But manny just got wasted by an old man and that qualifies him a massive fight? His past record is irrelevant. You may as well set up Roy Jones junior in a title match given his past achievements.
