Well the day has finally arrived and the summer long mixed feeling following promotion because of price increases, board antipathy towards fans, lack of player investment and continuing speculation about Neil Warnocks future can be put to one side.
Once we have kicked a ball in anger the natural passion for the team and the beautiful game will take over and we can concentrate on what really matters, namely the way we play and of course the results!
Prospects against Bolton much be considered healthy (despite Jonathon Pearce tipping Bolton for today) and it will be interesting to see which Adel Taarabt turns up at Loftus Road after all the on/off transfer speculation. If his mind is in W12 today rather than Paris, some questions might finally be answered.
What result today lads and ladesses?
No teams available yet but here's hoping a handful of the old BBC 606 matchday guys are just waiting around for some banter!
Come U Rssss!
Here we go then.....

@ RRthedrum
Did you really go into this game expecting a simple win or was it just positive thinking?
