But this has been coming for a few years now, the squad has not been strengthened enough and Fergie should take the blame for Moyes inheriting an awful midfield and terrible wingers (Januzaj excluded)
Fergie overlooked midfield for years, not signing a midfielder since Hargreaves in 2007. For a club of Utd's size that is simply pathetic, look at all the other top sides in Europe they all have extremely strong midfields and this is the reason Utd are so easy to play against.
Moyes is not to blame for this, sure he hasn't exactly done a great job but he can only p### with the c##k he's got.
The Glazers now need to step up and spend serious money otherwise there will be no CL football next season and the revenues will drop drastically.
Over to you Glazers.....
Not going to call for Moyes to get sacked

But he hasn't made the most of the squad we have, has he?
Valencia is first choice get done nothing for 2 years, Kagawa is played with players who don't bring the best out of him, Giggs playing 90 mins ect ect

Our squad isn't as good as it could be, true, but it's better than Liverpool's and Evertons and they are both 5 pts ahead of us.
So Moyes has to take some blame for that. The players are simply not playing for him and the summer was a Huge embarrassment for him.

I don't agree.
Besides a few special players we have a lot of very very average players.

fergie wouldve carried on but due to his wifes sister passing away he made the decision

Mourinho would have done no better unless he was given vast amounts of money. Thats all he does.
He spends money on top players.

agreed for years now even dating back to the old 606 it was obvious we needed to strenghten midfield hence the speculation around the likes of sneidger, ozil etc scholes and giggs were approaching there last years. It wasnt done and fergie needs to take the blame for that

The same squad finished nearly 30 pts ahead of the scouse clubs just 5 months ago.
Our squad is FAR from perfect I agree. Midfield is a joke. But Moyes has still inherited a top keeper, some good defenders and two great strikers plus more.
He's not getting the best out of the team. 6 wins in 14 PL games is NOT good enough.

average performances from an average manager. just shows how great fergie was

All great to say that we finished well clear last season, but did we play well ? i think the answer is no, Fergie was just the master of getting results
If there ever was a time to spend money it was this summer just gone, the new manager needed to be backed not only by the fans but by the owners as well. That didn't happen, offers like 25M on Cesc is just pathetic, was never going to be accepted and only got Barca's back up over the situation.
Others improved we didn't, we stood still and without Fergie it now shows how average some of the players are.
