So tomorrow is the draw for Brazil14. I think it is fairly obvious who are the team from the seeds everyone will want to draw.
But who will the UEFA sides want to avoid from the two other pots?
The Asian/CONCACAF pot holds Japan, USA, South Korea, Honduras, Mexico, Australia, Costa Rica and Iraq.
The third pot will contain the unseeded South Americans Ecuador and Chile plus the 5 African nations, Ghana, Cote d'Ivoire, Nigeria, Algeria and Cameroon. There is also the possibility of being drawn with another unseeded UEFA nation.
In regards to the Africa/SA pot I think the team to avoid is Chile. Home continent advantage will help. However drawing Chile would mean escaping Brazil, Argentina, Colombia and Suarez.
The African nations are hard to call. I would call them potential banana skins but i would no doubt be deemed racist Any of Ghana, Ivory Coast and Nigeria would not be great. With the added threat of a floating UEFA nation, this could be fun.
In the Asian pot there is not too much to fear, bar good old hardwork and enthusiasm. US and the Aussies would generate a bit of rivalry interest, while Japan and Korea would probably be the teams with most quality. Mexico look a shadow of their best, although Costa Rica may be dark horses for a good run with a nice draw (there goes the racism again)
The African pot could be crucial tomorrow, some very decent teams in there.
