Oops wrong thread.

Second go.

Audience – yes thanks for that. I should have paid more attention to the red squiggly line underneath the word in my word processor before posting.

It is sensible for a driver to be in communication with the pit wall and receiving regular information to enable the driver to make intelligent decisions.

A driver with a 20 second gap over the following car did not need to have it explained to him that he had the equivalent of a free pit stop yet Vettel did.

A driver with a 30 second gap over the following car did not need to be ordered to save his tyres, yet Vettel did.

A driver in a race that had a high probability of a safety car did not need to be advised to not waste his time posting fastest laps on dodgy tyres, yet Vettel did.

But some people believe that Vettel's stupidity is intelligence.

Tragic to return to the nonentity of the "so-was-called-A1-ring" just to please a soft drinks maker.

Such is the world of effwun under Ecclestone, although his "power" may be reduced should he be unfortunate enough to find himself in a European prison of some description after all the court action he may have to endure, poor soul, I do feel sorry for him.
After all, it's not like you can bribe the legal system or government of a country.

Other than that there are some good tracks, although as virtually the only person on the planet to like Bahrain, who am I to judge?

I like Bahrain too, hate the A1 ring though

For those who remember the old Zandvoort there is a similarity, all the sand blowing across the track makes life difficult for the drivers. There was a great 6 hour sports car race there a couple of weeks ago.
I think the fast return section is fabulous, although to be honest it hasn't produced great races.

Perhaps a slow-burner, like Hungaroring?
