Breaking News

After the shambolic display in the first two Ashes tests, ECB are sending their scouts to South Africa, West Indies and Asia to recruit new bunch of young players.

The previous performance from scouts in recruiting players of South Africa was appreciated but they haven't progressed against raw pace bowlers like MJ and spin bowling in Asia. Hence this time they included West Indies and Asia.

I reckon we could try and recruit some
North Koreans !That might scare the sheet
out of them.

I really don't understand why England are struggling with MJ, he's been around for ages and is well known. The guy has been average for years....

Mitch hasn't been average, he has always had the potential to bowl like this and we saw glimpses in previous years. However he was not consistent and used to spray the ball all over the place when his confidence was low.

Now he has added that control to his game and he looks the real deal.

Facing a bowler who can control the ball at 94mph is probably the hardest bowler to face Imo. That's why Steyn is so good as he also has great pace along with great control.

Potential means nothing without producing the results, I still think England can and should be handling him better. He's been around for years and never been as successful as he has this series.... He's akin to Stewart downing, plenty of potential but very very inconsistent

There's not so much genuine pace in the game as there once was.
