Everton and newcastle

Before taking a pop at Moyes, look at the XI's put out by Everton and Newcastle and compare them to ours. Precisely what divine right do we have to win those games? Pure and simple. We no longer have a "once in a lifetime" manager and the two players who single handedly won us the title last year (rvp and carrick) have both been out. Zero point in blaming the manager if he doesn't have the players

He was woefully unsupported in the summer. Look at Arsenal and there were people who were calling for the managers head after one game. One really good signing and all it changed. Moyes had no such luxury at all due to the mess made by the board.

I thought he pulled a plug on a few of the signings in the summer himself?

I get the point, but if you were to do a combined XI out of the teams today, how many Newcastle players would be in it...?

Quite frankly; I'd take Collocini, Cabeye and Ben Arfa for starters. We simply aren't superior to these teams and without the all conquering manager papering over the cracks we're there to be got at and they've sussed that out. The days of teams being beaten before the game starts are LONG gone

Rubbish. Anyone who truly believes they would prefer Newcastles squad or Everton is mental. Even the opposition manager would prefer our squad.
