He has made a bad start to his own personal Utd career and this is the worst state Utd have been in since the Premier league began. However, even if Utd miss out on the top 4, Moyes will stay in charge imo and that would be the right decision. You cannot start a tradition of sacking managers after short periods of time as it will damage the club. The next manager would be under the same amount of pressure, and the one after that, and so on. Utd are rebuilding something for the first time in over 2 decades. It wasn't going to happen straight away. Yes the transfer window was embarrassing but that can not be put down to Moyes alone. The people above Moyes failed him.
Utd also have the resources to get out of this mess so it's not as bad as you might have led yourself to believe. These players are the current champions and you don't suddenly lose the title winning ability over night. Yes confidence is low and the players are not playing well, which is why work rate is more important as of right now.
Give Moyes time but more importantly, give him support. He needs time to become the Manchester United manager.
Moyes will not get sacked and rightly so

Only 5 minutes gone at the Emirates and Moyes Everton never looked as good away at a big club as Everton have started this game.
Moyes would have parked the bus and hardly had a kick.

Yes, because Everton never went to United and took the lead and looked the better team for ages under Moyes (2012)

Robb,
Im all for giving any manager his chance and Moyes deserves to see out this season and hopefully he will improve the situation dramatically.
As you say, there are many scenarios that could play out this season and we just have to accept that some of them may not be too pretty
What i want to see in Moyes is signs that he is actually growing into the role, at the moment im not seeing that, in fact im seeing the opposite and i wonder if the whole thing maybe too much for the bloke.
I honestly hope he turns things around, but im not overally keen on stubbornly keeping someone that might never come to grips with the job.

No Utd fan will convince me that Moyes is good enough to manage you.
I hope you keep him for years, but he won't last that long sadly.
He should be managing Fulham or Wigan. A success at a club with low expectations.

Moyes & Clough should never be mentioned in the same sentence.

Umm... There's some kind of irony here....
I also mentioned that Moyes is not Clough in the very post you quoted...

Resident is fairly embarrassing. He calls people cry babies and makes accusations of lacking backbone whilst displaying the exact same characteristics he chastises in every post.

Then 6 years after sacking managers along comes a Cardiff reject
Everything that’s been said about Moyes not being up to it can be said of Solskjaer.
