i cant imagine the last time i felt so dejected about our team. If not to say that we are in a worse position now than than at the end of last when we lost a string of games, only just scraping into 4th place.
TBH i think Wenger has lost the plot. How many seasons now have we seen players from our starting 11 leave? Cole, Hleb,Flamini, Adebayor, Clichy, Toure, Gallas?
From the time Gallas gave in and sat on the pitch culminating in his losing the captaincy, one could say things have progressively been deteriorating.
Wenger has clearly lost the dressing room and is no longer commanding the respect of his players as he should. I cant imagine any other top club manager allowing 1 of his top 3 players, Nasri in this case, running down their contract to this stage.
As well the signings we have made are not the quality we expected as promised by AW. The signings he's made are not good enough to rejuvenate the players, fans and offer something to the team which is what we need. The signings we have made only provide the latter.
Signing a Benzema, Mata, Aguero or Metersacker would have provided all three in my opinion.
Thus with less than two hours to go i feel dejected but will still be supporting my team to the last whistle as always...but my support for Wenger is on the wane.

Yeah and remember that they are in a bad way as well! No Enrique, Barton gonna be playing rubbish, no Nolan....Demba Ba and Cabaye are good but we will be a bit strong for them. I hope.

I think this team today is much better.

OP: I fell the same. After Cesc gone I feel depressed. We will miss him badly I know it. But we cant change that now. We have to look ahead and believe of a miracle.

that team is at most the same i reckon because when you fatcor in the pressure our players will be in after this SPECIAL close season.
However...lets buckle down and hope to be proved wrong. I cant wait to see what excuse the Scousers have for their home draw to Sunderland. Gerrard is not playing maybe?
