Agreed but the good thing is we don't know our best players so I doubt other clubs do either. We can even afford to lose players for a decent profit and replace with with our current squad.

----------------------------------------------------------------------I agree, we don't really have a stand out world class player to be honest, which is in some ways good and some bad. I do have a feeling though that we might struggle to keep hold of Vertonghen or Lloris if either of these two players hit some really good form this year.

Siggy isn't a left winger, we need to keep our wingers direct wide men, Townsend and Lennon are ideal to our system

In that case we will still have the same old problem we have always had - when one gets injured we don't have a like for like to replace him. That was a criticism I levelled against the club for absolutely ages - when Lennon got injured we were playing someone like niko out there and our whole style suffered. It's so obvious and simple and has to this day not been rectified by the club. How long has Lennon been with us? 8 years?

I truly believe we have bought for the next 3 seasons. We get other fans saying how much we have spent. I actually think this was a 3 year spend in one season. We really don't need to buy much over the next 6 windows. Maybe an LB and replace striker with striker. but we won't need to make many acquisitions over the coming years.

Aside from a left back a centre back a back up keeper and a couple of strikers to replace Ade and Defoe.

Absolutely. Mad Harry didn't play him more. He was never a right winger though.

Just like Siggy, he's not suited out on the flank, he's an attacking central midfielder, I want Siggy in that role

i personally quite like siggy from the left. he has done well for us when played there.
