Blackstock out for season

Statement saying that Blackstock is out for the rest of the season with a knee injury and will undergo surgery.
Would we want him back when fit?
I think that our strikeforce will have been sorted by then so unlikely we'll see him back at ER in a Leeds shirt.
What do you guys think?

I would prob rather take Keogh back as he and Ross played well together.

If I had a choice though I would rather have a better quality striker to partner up top.

Hopefully we will spend some money in Jan and make it happen.

I am waiting for someone to say Becchio or Beckford...

Burke, go for Gnabry again and a striker and we are in the mix!

Shame for Blackstock, the lad had potential, but i agree we should now look elsewhere

I'm more disappointed for Dexter than I am for us, seems he can't get a break injury wise!

I thought he did ok for us and was hoping he would maybe stay on but we can't be signing players who keep getting injured! Big shame, but we will ok without him

Yorkie

It's already began on Twitter. Becchio is not the answer for several reasons.

1. He hasn't played in a long while.
2. He is very nearly 30.
3. His price is inflated now he plays for an EPL club and it will not reflect his true value.

Not sure I'd agree with point 3. Norwich clearly don't want/need him, whereas if he was an integral part of a Championship/League One team they'd demand much more.

There only one reason becchio is not the answer

He's fooking sh I te

What about Becchio or Beckford?

Becchio back in January and Beckford, I don't want him back, seems content at Bolton.

I wonder if Elding is worth a shout too.....

Maybe we should go back for Di Costa

Sir Kenneth Bates

They'll be wanting over £2m for him. That's too much. He's getting on, he's not played in ages and he's off form. The best bet for Norwich is to either accept whatever they can get or to send him out on loan in an attempt to increase his value. However, I think a club would be stupid to take him on loan with how long he hasn't played for.
