Lambert needs to decide how he wants the team to play, then stick to it. At the end of last season I'm sure we were having for more possession than we seem to be capable of at the moment.

Andy, looking at the better teams we've beaten this year then I think we are capable of tackling all the teams below us; a few like Hull who make it difficult we may only draw against but the rest we can beat.

In theory that is. What worries me more than the MU match is the Fulham result. We should be able to beat Fulham or at least get a draw out of it. OK if a couple of dodgy decisions hadn't gone against us we could have got a draw, but the fact remains we weren't that good.

We know the players aren't that great, but looking at what the poorer PL teams have they aren't that bad either; an end of season mid-table position would be about right. If performances get back to what they should be we'll get there (well we're there at the moment, we need to stay there). The problem is that in the last two games we haven't put in those performances. Injuries etc are only part of it. Lambert needs to put it right.
