Evidently not basic enough for you. Do you not understand the concept that there can't be an equal chance of drawing each team because of the rule that you can't play teams from your own league? The only way the odds could be equal would be if there were exactly the same number of teams from each country occupying first and second in each group.

Maths is not for everyone....

It's just because both Bayern and ourselves can play each other, and only have a total choice of 5 teams to play each. Neither can play the team that also qualified from their group, or the two teams from their country in the other half of the draw, whereas the other clubs (barring the other English and German ones) have at least 6 teams they could be drawn against.
