Not having a go at you, but you are a big believer in these youth players from a few previous posts I have seen off you

I don't no sbs but i love nothing more than seeing a youth player in the first team. From what i have seen they all look like they have the talent it just takes more than talent to make it, lets hope they have the attitude and adapt to the first team football.

Look at mowatt and how well he has played and he never played for england at youth level, cook, denton and atkinson have. They tried to get cook playing for the u18s when he was only 14 but the rules said he couldnt. Mulhern is a goal machine as is stokes and i know its not the best level but they look like natural goal scorers who can really finish.

More more so than walters, poleon and parkin

LMR - like you i always like to see a player who's come through the youth set up make it into the 1st team - not enough have done it really successfully of late, but nonetheless it's always good to see.

I don't want players in the team on sentiment though - they have to be good enough.

Great post though - i'm popping along tonight to watch the lads against Reading .......... £3 to get in, you can't go wrong for that.

It's always an exciting future being a Leeds fan...!

Denton and stokes look class if you look at that goal they have talent but you can't base how good some players are on being beaten by two long throws
