Cannot agree with that. The path to becoming a professional footballer cannot be classed as real hard work, compared to 99.9% of the rest of the world.
Pay me 1% of what any Premiership player gets and I'll happily train 3x the amount they do.

I'm not saying it's as hard as other jobs, but to get to that level and maintain it isn't easy.
My cousin went to the same school as Beckham and he said there were far more talented players than him, but yet Beckham was the only one to make it. why?
Also it's a myth that money is what motivates us, if so Arsenal should've won a title ages ago with the amount we pay our players.

Do you think Messi got to where he is by training a few times a week, yes he's a talent but from reading his bio (all be it in spanish) he worked bloody hard to get where he is and probably still does.
Being at the top in any sport is difficult (football being on of the easiest compared to other sports tbh but it's still hard)

That's not my point. My point was about your comment about people on here who criticise these players probably haven't worked as hard as they have to get where we are.
